Photography has long been regarded as a storytelling tool, it is a fundamental attribute with quotes like a good photograph is worth a thousand words. However, with the advent of social media and the internet, the storytelling aspect of photograph has taken a back seat with more images aimed at pleasing aesthetic watchdogs (known as fans or followers). In a series he’s titling “Shutter Stories”, Peter explores a photobook by famous actor Jeff Bridges and explores how the images woven with tales bring back that fundamental aspect of photography that isn’t so prevalent in today’s society anymore.
