Themed “Photography and the Technological Evolution”, the 2020 Business of Photography Conference was going to be packed with photography professionals and enthusiasts from around the country and the African continent delivering insightful talks, panel sessions, Masterclasses and networking with the singular aim of growth.
Today, 21st April was the proposed date for the now postponed conference and while the nation practices Social Distancing to curb the spread of the novel COVID 19 Pandemic, We can but look back at the good times of previous conferences and pray that this passes so we can come together as a community to forge ahead and break new grounds for the furtherance of Photography in Nigeria.
In line with keeping spirits alive and the furtherance of knowledge amongst Photographer, the Business of Photography Networks (bopnetworks) would be commencing Instagram Live sessions starting today with various industry leaders to promote knowledge and prepare for a society post the pandemic.

The Business of Photography Conference since its inception in 2018 is the largest gathering of Photography minds in Nigeria to mingle, network and share ideas on ways to move the industry forward. It’s also a muster point for suppliers of Photography equipment and photographer to meet and do business. The Conference is an annual conference organized by Insigna Media Production Limited, Africa’s Largest Photography Company based out of Lagos Nigeria. The convener Kola Oshalusi is a seasoned photographer with a keen eye for detail and a zeal to see the Imaging industry in Nigeria get to its highest peak. This Years’ conference was supposed to hold today the 21st of April at the Landmark Event Centre, Water Corporation Road, Oniru, Victoria Island Lagos but was postponed to help curb the spread of the Corona Virus.
