Our photographer for the week is Luckson Rugah (@lucksonrugah), he’s a Tanzanian-born and based photographer. who specializes in weddings, portraits, and lifestyle photography.
it all began as a hobby while he was a university student where he used to promote his clothing line. He decided to pursue photography full-time in 2017 and got the basic knowledge as a creative from 20 Eleven studios where his journey to the photography and imaging industry all started. Luckson Rugah has documented a lot of weddings in the Tanzanian mainland and Zanzibar and has created and documented images for a number of hotels, lipstick brands, and mega beverage companies in Tanzania. Mr. Luckson has also participated in shooting one of the biggest marathons in East Africa-Kilimanjaro marathons. In 2020 Mr. Luckson Rugah was voted best-preferred wedding photographer of the year at the TCCA awards.
