Ayeni-Babaeko returned to Nigeria in 2005 and worked as a freelance photographer, before opening her own studio in 2007 (www.camarastudios.com). She has been active as a photographer with social conscience chronicling the life of modern Nigeria. Besides her fashion and documentary photography, Ayeni-Babaeko has facilitated numerous photography workshops in partnership with the Goethe Institute, mentoring young female photographers.
