After a successful first edition in 2018, the Business of Photography Conference returns for a second edition with the theme “Shaping the Narrative”.
As a story telling tool, Photography is geared towards telling stories that words can’t, playing on the visual centers of the human brain and eliciting the proper emotions. The Nigerian Imaging sphere has made tremendous strides in the last decade but there’s much more that can be done hence the annual convening at the Business of Photography that pulls industry leaders from across Nigeria and beyond to discuss ways to move the Photography industry to new levels.
Featuring panelist discussions, master classes on Portraits, Documentary, Fashion, Wedding and Event photography and an Exhibition, the Conference is a 12 hour all-things-photo marathon that provides networking and learning opportunities and a chance for photographers to relate with Photo manufacturing and servicing companies.
Panelist scheduled to be speaking at the conference include; Bernard Kalu, Rez Bona, Akintunde Oyebode, George Osodi, Georgette Monnou, Christopher Omoijiade, Rotilu Adebayo amongst others.
The Conference is slated for the 30th of April, 2019 at the Landmark Event Centre, Plot 2&3 Water Corporation Road, Victoria Island, Lagos.
