It’s been two months since the 2019 Business of Photography conference that held in Lagos Nigeria and the memories are still fresh in our minds and hearts.
The Panel sessions were insightful, invigorating and insightful with take home lessons that inspired attendees to up their photography game. Speaking on the importance of contracts before executing photo sessions, Kelechi Amadi-Obi stressed the importance of signing agreements between photographer and client for future referencing.
Bayo Omoboriowo, Personal Photographer to the Nigerian President was on ground at the conference. During his panel session, Bayo spoke on the importance of carving a niche and sticking to it in spite of problems noting that photographers of today want to be known for everything but citing examples that the greats are mostly known for one aspect of photography. He also stressed the importance of having the right clique stating that those you surround yourself with would determine how far you go on your photography journey.
