Canon released the C70 compact cinema camera in late October and it has since resonated with filmmakers and cinematographers world over owing to its compact nature and the fact that it uses the company’s RF mount (The RF kine up has some amazing lenses) but last week, Sony unveiled the new FX6 compact cinema camera with a full-frame sensor and an even smaller design (just by a little bit) and with both cameras in the same $6,000 price range, Matt Johnson has pit both cameras against each other to find out which is better.
