In a press release, Canon has confirmed that come Thursday, September 24th through to Friday 25th, the company will present the latest addition to their line of cinema cameras.
Named the EOS C70, the new cinema camera is the first in its line and is geared towards all personnel in the video industry. No details have been made public about the new camera yet but the company promises to make all known on the Canon Vision platform (the launch will be a virtual launch), where there would be presentations by experts and first-hand users of the new camera.
The launch will also serve as a platform for visitors to discuss the current industry environment and possible ways forward or as canon put it;
“Across the 24th and 25th September, the Canon Vision programme of events includes six live sessions with imaging professionals to discuss everything from the current industry challenges and video journalism trends to the world of post-production and the future of Hollywood.”
