Hi everyone, so while I was researching what to write next I stumbled on this camera called the “cosmos cycle 4×5 camera” I really don’t know whether you guys have heard of, or seen this camera before but for me, I will call it ‘new’ seeing as it’s the first time I have heard about it. So I’m going to give you all the juice about this camera.
The Cosmos Circle is a 4X5 handheld snapshot camera that is comprised of a camera body, ground glass, and tube. More like a compact camera with a viewfinder and one 99x96mm pinhole lens board which is 0.3mm.bit. It comes with an F-stop of 70mm with a full open aperture of 2m to 20m. The pinhole is made of 0.01mm thick metal materials. To eliminate burrs, we drilled through 15 times laser. Cosmos also provides other diameters from 0.1mm to 1.0mm- special diameter can be customized as required. The view angle of this camera is 102°, and viewfinder is 110°. It is also lightweight at 470g, unlike other cameras. It is made of composite plastic with a 1/4tripod screw at the bottom.
On the other hand, the FILM HOLDER BACKS AND QUICK-RELEASE PLATE IN THE PICTURES ARE NOT INCLUDED.
This video by “KangRinpoche” explains more about the Cosmos circle 4×5 large format camera, if you’re looking to get this camera it kind of has some tricks on the way it works from changing of the lens to the dismantling of the body part and fixing it back.
