Sam Newton is a Photographer and YouTube sensation, best known for his diss track (which was made with love BTW) against fellow YouTuber Peter Mckinnon titled THE NEW PETER McKINNON (which if you haven’t watched, you absolutely should check out).
He runs Sam Newton Media and when he’s not creating ridiculously great music, he’s a travel cinematographer that creates amazing travel films that are slow-paced, cinematic, and inspiring (which is totally not what his music sounds like) but when he isn’t doing that, then he’s rapping about being a cameraman or the joys of photography… and being a self-professed music critic (you can check my playlist to confirm), Sam is a musician you want to listen to (except you shoot with Nikon, then probably don’t because he’s always taking jabs at them, but who doesn’t?).
Sam Newton is an example of how you can blend completely different genres of art and still be successful and unique and if you’ve been looking at getting inspired to explore all aspects of your creativity, then look no further than Sam Newton. Just last month, he dropped a hilarious music video titled “Shoots on Nikon” and it is just incredibly hilarious and brilliant how he takes jabs at Nikon (He says he holds no beef against Nikon shooters or the company itself but everyone who doesn’t shoot Nikon knows what it is to be in his position… I guess the Nikon dislike is universal).
