Educational background
My primary education was at Temitope Nur-Primary sch there in somolu then to CMS grammar school Bariga, [ up school, up boys] I studied statistics at the fed university of agriculture Abeokuta.
How did you fall in love with photography
Photography came about in my early days at the university, I love cameras as gadgets.
When did you decide to take it from being an hobby to a profession?
2015 I’ll say.
What type of photography do you do?
I’m a portrait and lifestyle photographer.
Where do you draw your inspiration from?
Inspiration come mostly from the happening around me, people especially. Creating portrait enables me to connect genuinely with people in s very different way.
Any photographer you look up to?
Shamayim, Denbych, Lexlash and a few more.
So far what has been your highest point as a photographer?
Highest point ? (laughs) Not there yet.
But then I’ve been opportuned to work with brands like Sacvin, Naijabet, Wazobia FM, Bloke, Krizbeatz, 95issue and many more.
What challenges do you think photographers in Nigeria face?
Major challenge for me I’ll say is clients ideology about photography. Sometimes, after calling your price to a client, and it seemed over the bar for him/her, you’ll hear something like ‘ is it not just to snap ordinary picture, or it’s only 2 pictures i need?’ yeah right, you can imagine. This has been a challenge for me and I try enlightening some clients, but how many do i have to enlighten?
Thank you so much. Any last words?
To any upcoming photographer out there reading this, bro/sis don’t stop shooting, I’ll say again don’t stop shooting. It’s a process.
Thank you.
