It is no news that the majority of photographers have no other source of income aside from creating beautiful images. It is therefore important that in order to stay on top of their game, that they keep taking pictures and get paid for it. For anybody to patronize you as a photographer there are things you need to do to keep them coming a couple of which as you read on you’ll come to understand. Here’s how to get clients as a photographer.
  • TARGET THE RIGHT AUDIENCE: Having understood your niche from the different genres of photography, it is important that you target the right client/audience. As a wedding photographer, your focus should be brides, grooms, wedding planners, or anybody in the wedding industry. Identify your client, and it will be easier to target the right audience this is one of the major things to do as a photographer to get jobs.
  • USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA: The invention of social media platforms is a major advantage not only to photographers but to creatives, so photographers should also maximize the use of social media like Instagram, twitter, etc. to promote their works.
  • CREATE DISCOUNT OFFERS: Create special promotions to get more clients. Offer less expensive and mini sessions that would attract new customers. Also, give a discount to clients that choose you, again and again, this way you get more clients as a photographer
