Meet Pixii, a ranger finder camera made by a small company in France. Unlike cameras of nowadays, Pixii is a range finder camera built with the semblance of old SLR cameras meaning it has no LCD screen and uses Bluetooth 5 technology to enable the user check on their images.
Unlike popular cameras that have poor camera to smartphone integration technology, Pixii steps in to fill that gap by creating a system where your smartphone is where you view your camera JPEGs, and if satisfied with what you shot, you can then pull over the raw file from the camera into Lightroom for further editing. The Camera features a 12-megapixel APS-C sensor and an M mount for lenses meaning you can adapt Leica M Mount lenses and they would work perfectly.
The goal of the Pixii is to ensure the photographer focuses on the frame and what’s in front of them. The Viewfinder is devoid of any distraction with only one dictator that tell you whether or not, you’ve achieved perfect exposure. Other controls and indicators are on the body of the camera with an exposure dial and an LCD screen on top of the camera and three indicators for battery, connectivity link and status on the side of the viewfinder. The Pixii also has 8GB in built storage (4GB for launch version) and works with Bluetooth 5 for flawless connection and lesser battery consumption meaning as soon as you press the shutter, your image appears in your phone’s gallery.
