Born December 29 1964, Kelechi Amadi Obi is a renowned Nigerian fashion ediitorial photographer and publisher of the ‘Mania Magazine’.
He is a celebrity photographer that has worked with likes of President Mohammed Buhari, Aliko Dangote, Agbani Derego, Tiwa Savage and many more. First a canvas artist, Kelech has built a career for himself
doing what he loves and has been able to carry out solo exhibitions as well as group exhibitions within and outside Nigeria.
He discovered his passion for arts [painting and photography] while he was in the University Of Nigeria, Nsukka studying Law and after his call to bar, he ventured into the arts.
His consistency in the field of photo-light exploration brought him into limelight as one of Nigeria’s foremost photographers and he; overtime has been able to put Nigeria photography on the map.
Kelechi would be speaking at this year’s Business of Photography Conference panel on the 30th of April, 2019 at the Land Mark Event Centre, Plot 2&3 Water Corporation Road, Victoria Island, Lagos.
