PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE WEEK/ Mohammed Adedeji Michael (@moh_visuals) is a portrait and a lifestyle photographer, who grew up in Jos, Plateau State in Nigeria. He picked up photography as a hobby in 2017 but later grew into a passion of his. Mohammed started his photography career officially in 2018. Since then, he has grown quickly in his skill. Mohammed successfully runs his own business with his personal studio located in Ilorin, Kwara State. Even though Mohammed is based in Ilorin, he has worked in several states in the country such as Lagos, Abuja, Kaduna, Anambra, Enugu and others.
Coupled with his personal development, he has attended several photography workshops, taken many photography classes and mentored under other photographers like Yemi Ajala Stanlophotography, itStudios and others.
Mohammed loves his work and it gives him joy and satisfaction when he captures people’s treasured moments. He particularly likes to see people smile and happy when they see the best images of themselves.
Photography has given him the opportunity to meet new people, share in their moments and it has even allowed him to capture moment in his own life that he doesn’t want to forget. He believes that moments will come and go, time waits for no man, but when we take pictures and save those moments, we are able to go back in time and experience those moments again through photography. This has been his drive. When he is not travelling around the country for work, Mohammed plays badminton, enjoys good music and good food.
