With the current rate of globalization and recognition coming to African artists and their craft, it was only a matter of time before the photography market caught on and over the last half decade, a lot has been happening with global brands recognizing Nigerian photographers for their prowess and giving them their due. Sony made a huge push starting in 2020 and now, it seems Fujifilm is following suit.
Following their naming of Nigerian Documentary Photographer Bernard Kalu, a global brand ambassador, the brand would be holding a meet today, with 5 top Fujifilm shooters to introduce Nigerian photographers to the amazing world of the Fuji X mount. All 5 photographers are Fujifilm users who are familiar with the inner workings of the Fujifilm camera system and are well equipped to introduce newbie and photographers already ingrained in the Fuji system what is possible.
