In exactly one month, Nigeria will celebrate its 60th year of independence and in honor of this landmark occasion, the guys at Greenworld Communications Limited led by four-time Guinness World Record holder Adetunwase Adenle are aiming to break the world record for largest photo book ever created and are seeking contributors from across Nigeria to send in images that show the beauty and diversity of the Nigerian land and culture.
Aiming to break the world record by creating a 20 by 20 feet photobook with images curated by various photographers from across the nation, the team at Beautiful Nigeria have created a simple process to assist in image curation and rewarding the photographers;
- Create an image that best shows the beauty of Nigeria with a caption that describes the image.
- Upload the image to social media and tag Greenworld and Beautiful Nigeria social media handles with the hashtag #BeautifulNigeria #AGreenWorld
- The team of judges will select (daily) a winning image that best represents the theme: beautiful Nigeria to win a N5,000 cash and other prizes. Furthermore, randomly selected images will be eligible to win various branded merchandise from different brands.
