In less than a month I will be purchasing a camera and there are specific features I always look out for when buying one. Most camera brands have really good products, so no matter the brand name you’re going for you can rest assured that you will get good pictures, as long as you know what you are looking for in a camera.
If you’re just starting into photography buying your first camera can be ridiculously overwhelming. However, I found a video by Chris Turner Photographer, that will help you make the right decision in choosing your first camera. Out of what to consider is your lens especially when your budget is crashing, it is advisable to invest in lenses, you will definitely get better image quality with the superior lens than you would with a better sensor. A good lens can last your entire career and generally will not depreciate anywhere near as quickly as a camera will. Check out the video below for the full rundown from Turner.
If you can afford to buy a new sensor and a new lens that will be a great advantage but considering you have a small budget for your gear, getting a new lens and an old camera will really help you create good images.
