Ever since the existence of social media, there’s been a sporadic shift in the photography world putting certain things into questioning. Social media like Instagram has been a useful and laudable platform for photographers to share their images across the world but this idea seems to have reduced the main reason why we take photographs or why you’re called a photographer.
We have allowed the so-called social media take away the genuine reason why we became photographers. Photography is not meant to be determined by the number of persons that viewed or liked your photograph nope! It’s way beyond that, and it should not serve as a yardstick to measuring your success as a photographer.
