  • Concept: Photography is comprised of what’s in the photo, how you take the photo and the way you edit the photo. So there are factors that go into your photos. What actually needs to be learnt first and where you need to focus your energy on everything in your frame, how to capture your subject and the final edit. Making sure you build a strong foundation for your image before taking your shot
  • Vision: Having a real good vision is another beautiful thing in photography. Having a good vision imagination determines whether the a photo is good or bad. Understanding what  good looks like then subconsciously emerge yourself in that imagination so that you understand what good photography looks like.
  • Find Inspection: You can draw inspection from other photography work or art, or movie, illustration,  architecture, etc having to take your mind off by removing your emotion out from your work to where you’re able to reimagine and refill your creative juice.
  • Style/Patter: This is not something you should worry about at first all you have to do is explore and with time you get to find your style that you can fit in.
  • Craft: This is referring to the basics of photography which is the exposure triangle. The ISO, Aperture and Shutter speed by understanding this element you’re able to have a balanced exposure image just by pushing the needful button.
  • Readjust The Rules: You don’t have to necessarily follow the rules of photography, you can tune it to your own taste; rules such as the rule of third, leading line, symmetry, framing, etc all these are the visual pattern. Understanding and breaking them is you creating your own version of such pattern.
  • Time: To be a professional photographer it takes years to develop. Your first 100,000 shot will be nothing to write about, becoming a proficient photographer requires years of practice and also in the process developing your photography.
  • Light: Essentially, photography is about capturing light. Understanding how light works and changes whether it’s hard or soft by doing so, you will be able to apply your visual representation.
  • Compose With Purpose: It’s your responsibility to make everything in your composition purposeful. Be conscious enough that everything in the frame has a purpose. I have seen some images with distracting features in the background; they affect the purpose and beauty of the image . Make sure everything in your frame is important.
  • Subject: Every photography has a subject and communicate purpose of the subject to your viewers thereby telling a story of your subject. Your subject must be the topmost center of attraction in your photograph and the depicting purpose of your subject.

I hope this help you become a better photographer as you begin to apply this tips in your photography career.
