This is not to put Sony out there but trust me they will always give you a run for your money in many cases. A lot of photographers raise questions like why will they have to buy new gear when the previous one they have can produce what they want?
In case you’re a Sony user and many times you ask yourself the same questions, well, in this video by Terry Warfield, he descriptively gives reasons why you should opt for the SONY A7IV.
One of which is the 15 stops dynamic range and the HEIF (High-Efficiency Image Format) option which has come to replace traditional JPEGS, is smaller and retains even more information. The noise performance on the new Sony A7IV crushes that of its predecessors and even though the company hasn’t officially confirmed it, there seems to be dual ISO gain output at ISO 800 and 12,500 to produce better low noise results when shooting in low light situations and of course the image noise performance is on par with the Sony standard and is further enhanced by the camera’s 33 megapixel BSI sensor.
