Here’s a look at some of the most exciting photography grants for women in 2025.

Women Photograph is offering five grants of $5,000 each to support women, nonbinary, and transgender photojournalists around the world. One of the five grants is reserved for a nonbinary or transgender photographer, and all applicants are considered for an additional $10,000 Women Photograph + Leica Grant no extra application required.

The deadline is June 15, 2025, and the process is free. No fancy camera required, just a strong story and a clear vision.

This grant is open to women, nonbinary, transgender, and intersex photographers working in documentary photography or photojournalism, regardless of age, nationality, or experience level.

You don’t need a long list of awards or fancy credentials. What matters most is your story, your intention, and your voice.

The Women Photograph Project Grants go beyond just offering financial support they’re a powerful reminder that your voice, your vision, and your story matter. In a world where women’s perspectives have too often been overlooked, this grant creates space for you to be seen, heard, and backed with real resources.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. If your work carries truth, heart, and a desire to make a difference, that’s more than enough. This is your opportunity to grow, to be recognized, and to contribute something lasting through your lens. Step forward. Share your truth. Let your story reshape how the world sees.
