The dream of every photographer is to create stunning imagery that gets better over time and to be about to achieve this goal, one must journey through the various stages that limit us from obtaining greatness.
Most often than not. we are our own limitations to attaining greatness and in this video, Michael Shainblum discusses five mistakes that can keep you from growing as a photographer. Personally, in my journey I struggled with letting people dictate the kind of images I want to create and seizing control gave me a freedom I had nly heard about. Whilst the video references mostly landscape photographers, it is applicable to any genre of photography that you practice:
