It’s the season for workshops and seminars and Photography Educators are looking to ensure that knowledge is made available to the people who need it.
Aham Ibeleme, Author of the books “How I Shot It [Vol 1&2]” will be facilitating his 8th workshop in the first week of March with the aim of teaching portrait lighting and retouching to its student to help them soar in their photography endeavors. Aham is the Lead Creative at AIP (Aham Ibeleme Photography), he has a Masters Degree in Geographical Information Systems and has been photographing for over half a decade.
According to his website;
The five day intensive workshop will take participants through the tricks of the trade and provide in-depth practical and hands on photography techniques that can be used to dramatically improve day to day creative skills, as well as a practical insight for those hoping to enter into the business of photography.
Over the days, I will be having models on site for the hands on lighting demonstration. Each of the attendees will have an opportunity to experiment with the various lighting techniques covered in the lectures, so bring your camera kit! And not to be overlooked, I will be covering a lot of my Photoshop techniques used in my photographs. I hold back nothing in revealing my photographic process. To finish the workshop off, my last session “Thriving in the Marketplace”, is designed to prepare and encourage photographers to get out and create an income with their craft.
The fee for the workshop is One Hundred Thousand Naira (N100,000). Topics that will be taught at the workshop include;
- Introduction to Photography
- Introduction to Strobe Photography (1-4 Light Setup)
- Location Lighting
- Retouching and Cinematic Color Grading
- Business of Photography, etc.
