For a majority of photographers who shoot female clients, getting a male client to pose can be tasking because they are used to directing females, and so are used to poses that work for them. Posing is not just about standing your subject in front of your camera. It involves having them pose in the direction of the light source which defines the pose of your subject. Posing is actually one of the best ways to bring out the most attractive side of a person.
