The Business of Photography Networks is one of Africa’s leading platforms dedicated to empowering creatives through education, collaboration, and enterprise development since 2018. We’ve annually convened the BOP Conference, partnered with varying organizations to promote Africa’s Creative Industry and foster conversations that lead to the Industry’s growth which is why we’re proud to announce our official partnership with the Africa Creative Market for the highly anticipated Creative Convergence 2026 set to take place in Lusaka, Zambia.

The landmark collaboration positions BOPNetworks as a strategic media and creative ecosystem partner for one of Africa’s most ambitious gatherings focused on the future of the continent’s creative economy. Hosted as part of the broader Africa Creative Market (ACM) 2026 activation, Creative Convergence will bring together creators, filmmakers, photographers, digital innovators, investors, policymakers, fashion leaders, musicians, and cultural stakeholders from across Africa and beyond. The Lusaka edition forms the centerpiece of ACM’s five-city global activation celebrating five years of impact across Africa’s creative industries.

Scheduled to hold in next week in Lusaka, Zambia, the event will integrate with the Creative Industries Business Summit and the Kwimbo National Arts Festival, further positioning Zambia as a rising hub for film, tourism, innovation, and cultural exchange in Africa. We hope that this collaboration serves as a powerful opportunity to strengthen Pan-African creative collaboration while amplifying African stories on the global stage.

Creative Convergence 2026 is expected to feature:

  • Industry panels and keynote conversations
  • Masterclasses and educational sessions
  • Film, photography, and digital media showcases
  • Fashion and art exhibitions
  • Investment and finance hubs
  • Cross-border networking opportunities
  • Innovation showcases and technology experiences
  • Strategic partnerships and business matchmaking sessions

The event is expected to attract delegates from Africa, Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East, reinforcing the growing global interest in Africa’s creative and cultural industries. As Africa’s creative industries continue to gain momentum, this partnership marks another important step toward building stronger continental networks, creating sustainable opportunities for emerging talent, and shaping a unified African creative future.
