Adewale (Tosin) Thompson, is a Nigerian American photographer based out of Newark, NJ. His brother was the first to put a Camera in his hand and from there, his lens took him to cover artists and creatives from across the Diaspora. From American artists including Travis Scott, and Fabolous, and From Foreign to Afrobeats artists Mayorkun, Sarkodie, Adekunle Gold and more.
His work is based around the community where he was born and raised, and ensuring that he remains true to his Nigerian culture. Growing up in an inner city, the urban culture is all around you but being raised by parents that immigrated from Nigeria, the culture can never leave you. Having both cultures in harmony through the work is the ultimate goal.
