She has been capturing images for about four years and she is really passionate about her craft. One of her favourite phrases is the one that says: “Moments don’t last but we can make them memorable.”

For Mary, who is mostly reserved and shy, photography has helped her get better at interacting with people and brought her out of her shell. When she meets a subject, even one who is a stranger to her, she befriends them through her lens. Her lens is a means of entering a stranger’s world, getting to know them, and letting the world see them through her eyes. This is obvious in Mary’s stunning portraits, which always capture the emotions and nuances of her subjects.
