BOP TOP YOUNG PHOTOGRAPHERS IN NIGERIA

Over time we have seen top fathers and legends in photography doing a lot in the industry over the past decade in Nigeria, some of which are Kelechi Amadi-Obi, Emmanuel Oyeleke, Kola Oshalusi, and a number of other amazing photographers. But in recent times young photographers are merging up and showing us that even more than the fathers and legends they can match up the same creativity and give amazing images that would linger on for generations to come.

This article is to show a number of the young and amazing photographers and their images and to show photographers that are just coming into the industry that a lot can be achieved through them with just understanding the rules and technicalities of photography and their creativity.

  • STEPHEN TAYO: Stephen started getting recognition as a photographer when he was shooting on an iPhone5 . He’s one of Nigeria’s rising style and documentary photographers, who strongly believes in culture and taking memories of events, places, and people. Stephen’s major interests are people’s stories, family, and communities and he strongly believes in culture and taking memories of events, places, and people.
  • AYO ADEAGBO: The University of Ibadan graduate has overtime, proven with his images, how amazing a photographer he can be. Ayo was a documentary photographer to former Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly. Adeagbo also served as Assistant Chief Photographer to former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi and he’s and the personal photographer to the Speaker, House of Representatives, Federal Republic of Nigeria Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.

  • VICTOR ADEWALE: Victor Adewale is a fast-rising documentary photographer in Lagos, Nigeria. He is mainly interested in using photography and film to translate his experience and worldview into relatable bits. Starting out as a writer, literature, and music are some of his deepest sources of inspiration. He is currently freelancing and documenting the daily aesthetics of Lagos, especially as it concerns the relationship between humans and waste management.

  • TOBI JAMES: Tobi James is another  fast-rising documentary photographer and the official photographer to the United Bank For Africa Headquarters. The Biker and photographer over time as proven his creative skill and how amazing photography as a craft and profession can and is meant to be.

 

  • MORGAN OTAGBURUAGU: Morgan is an amazing premium art and fashion photographer, his photography style is based on storytelling and love for African women especially dark skin. Morgan’s storytelling revolves around positioning black skin as the ultimate definition of beauty. Morgan has had his works featured on TheTimesUK,  GuardianUk, Vogue Italia amongst others.
  • ADEBAYO FELIX: Adebayo Felix is a creative fashion, beauty, and editorial photographer known for his unique creative and detailed photographer technique. He believes in enhancing beauty in everything and achieving global excellence with every image he creates. With his signature touch of making the skin look silky and lush, yet natural, his works definitely stand out amongst others.
  • BABALOLA IFEOLUWA: Ifeoluwa is an event and lifestyle photographer known for the amazing touch and spark he brings to every image. He believes that he can achieve excellence with any image he creates because he has mastered the art and craft of photography.
