The Camera sensor is hands down the most important part of your camera and every now and then, some dust and unwanted particles would always evade all preventive measures we take and get onto your sensor. For people with DSLRs, this is most unlikely because of the mirror ‘guarding’ your sensor but with mirrorless shooters, getting dust on your sensor is more than likely.
In this video, the guys at the Timely Photos YouTube channel get some dust on their sensor and walk the audience through the process of cleaning the said sensor. Some cameras are built with sensor cleaning technology but some times you just have to do it yourself. If you’re uncomfortable with cleaning your own sensor, it’s perfectly okay to bag it and send it over for professional cleaning but if you’re good with your hands, all you need is a sensor swab, some cleaning liquid, and professional air blower and all of these can be found at your nearest camera store in a camera/lens cleaning kit.
Below is the process in full… You’re welcome.
