The Photography Industry in Nigeria has the potential to reach the stratosphere but with no union and no common place to meet and tackle issues that affect us, the possibility or growth is hindered and that is where the photographers database comes in.
According to the description on the form:
We are aiming to get the information of photographers in Nigeria to enable us come together and take steps towards making the industry an easier place to work.
We are taking baby steps towards the ultimate goal of creating an association of forward thinking individuals that are willing to act together for the betterment of self and all.
The first step is to at least know how many we are and this data will be used to leverage favorable industry standards and benefits for all concerned .
Please understand that regardless of your skill or experience you are an important part of the community and this cannot be done without you. We hope that in the future we can be as organised as our contemporaries in countries around the world and grow to see major benefits accrued to all.
