As a young photographer, you cannot assume that after getting your camera(body) no other accessories are needed. As expensive as it might be, other accessories are needed to enhance the productivity and ease of your work as a photographer. In this article, I discuss the basic accesories you will require for your camera as a photographer. I hope you find this helpful.
ACCESSORIES FOR YOUR CAMERA
- External Flash: The flash that comes with your camera as a photographer is weak so there is a need for an external flashlight. If you are taking a lot of indoor shots, you definitely need an external flash as this will help make a huge difference in the quality of the pictures taken with low light.
- Camera Bag: The camera bag helps house your camera, lenses, and other accessories that can fit in it, so the camera bag is one of the most important accessories you need to have as a photographer.
- Lens Holder: The lens holder is most important during an outdoor shoot. It helps prevent direct sunlight from getting into the lens. The lens holder most importantly helps to prevent lens scratches, dent and minor damage.
- Extra Batteries: As a photographer extra batteries are needed especially if you’re shooting events or any outdoor shoot.
- Reflector: A reflector is a way to brighten your portrait and still life image, they can be used both indoors and outdoors to bounce light to your subject and to fill in unwanted shadows. Many reflectors come doubled -sided, with the white and silver gold surface giving slightly different results. The white surface acts as a diffuser to soften strong light and sunlight.
