Some images appear to be technically imperfect according to the standard rules of photography but they tell numerous stories in their imperfection. While some photographs/images are taken with precision to the rules but yet lack attention and intimacy to their viewer. Usually, people admire perfect images as they are pleasing to the viewer and not to the subject per se. I will like to say that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with images where everything is perfect.

This raises the question of whether there’s a need for technicality, yes but not solely on that ideology alone. Most photography competitions lookout for images/photographers with great technical prowess thereby neglecting the truthfulness of that odd, blurred, and skewed image/photograph.
There is a huge contributing factor to the urge of creating a perfect image or perfection which is influenced by what photography has become today and this is without the exception of camera manufacturers who in some sought influenced the creative processes of the art of photography, even down to the editing software with a lot of manipulating features that alters originality. Now too many rules or perfection can leave you deterred, kill your interest, and bore you. Simplicity and not striving for perfection all the time can add some spice to your photographs.
Like I have said earlier there are a lot of images that are technically perfect but still lack their essence, and in the end, all seem like baked images. We can seamlessly create images/photographs that speak volume in context to a particular subject matter without the excess infusion of perfection. There’s room for exploration and we can embrace imperfection as we go along the journey.
