Curated by Uche James Iroha, this exhibition is a blast from the past with the goal of reminding us how powerful photography is as a tool of recollection and memory archiving.
Photography asides being a tool for portraying beauty acts as a doorway to the past. A safe measure that we use to almost accurately store memories for generations to come. Uche James Iroha, a documentary photographer and lead ‘conductor’ at the Photogarage aims at using the exhibition to peruse this function of photography and “examine the role of memory”.
Put together by Alliance Francaise and the Photo Garage Lagos, the exhibition will be holding at the Mike Adenuga Centre, 9 Osborne Road, Ikoyi, Lagos from 7:00 pm on Thursday, 12th December 2019.
