The Africa Soft Power Summit is a 3 day summit holding from May 23rd-May 27th at Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda. It represents the pioneer event for Africa’s creative and tech industries, as well as women’s leadership, attracting speakers and delegates from across the continent and around the world.

The African Soft Power Summit is a platform for Creatives, policymakers, business leaders, artists, and media professionals to exchange ideas and insights on how soft power can be harnessed to enhance Africa’s global reputation and influence.

4. What should I bring with me to the conference?

Here are five basic necessities that you should consider taking with you:

  • Travel documents: You will need a valid passport and any necessary visas to enter Rwanda. It is also a good idea to bring a copy of your travel itinerary, hotel reservations, and any other important documents.
  • Comfortable clothing and shoes: Bring comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for a range of temperatures and activities, including networking events, seminars, and sightseeing.
  • Personal hygiene items: Pack toiletries, including toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and deodorant. It is also a good idea to bring any medications or vitamins that you regularly take.
  • Electronic devices: Bring your laptop, tablet, or smartphone. You may also want to bring a camera to capture photos and videos of the summit and your travels.
  • Business cards: You will be meeting and networking with many people at the summit, so it is important to have business cards to exchange with fellow attendees. Make sure your business cards have your name, job title, and contact information.
