This will be heartbreaking to all Panasonic’s LUMIX users who are looking to upgrade their camera to the latest LUMIX GH6. according to the statement released on their website with the heading “Notice regarding the delivery of mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera DC-GH6”

For the mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera LUMIX “DC-GH6″ scheduled to be released on March 25,
we have received reservations that greatly exceeded our expectations, so
some customers have already made reservations. May not be delivered on the day of release.
In addition, it may take some time for customers who make reservations in the future to deliver the product after it is released. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to all

Situations like this, question the capacity of the manufacturer whether they’re able to meet up customers’ expectations as regards their standard. Although other camera manufacturers like Canon, Sony, Nikon, etc. have faced challenges of not keeping up to supply requests of their products. I just hope that with time these challenges will be eradicated and manufacturers will level up with the demand and supply.
