Black and white photography has always had a unique style and fill of its own and a lot of photographers still rever and enjoy using it as a style of photography and for displaying photographs or telling a kind of story.
Editing or converting from colour into black and white is time-consuming if you want to createt memorable results.
Black and white is just seamless, no contradiction of colour, no excessiveness it’s beauty in itself. When I started photography I really do not know the value or the reason why people used black and white in their images all I noticed was that it gave contrast to the images. Definitely not all scene works well with black and white; there are some scenes that need to be captured in black and white and also few elements that bring it to life such as contrast, light, composition. Also, bear in mind that when you open a raw file, you should know before touching a slider, just what can be achieved. It’s only then that you can really spot great images that others may not have seen.
