As photographers, we all want to be known for what we do and how we create that magic. We want our work to be noticed by people; this why we share them on all social media platforms, blogs, and websites. Getting your work noticed can be a bit hard so I will be sharing some tips on how you can do this easily.

  • Experiment With Photo Projects To Get Recognized: The more you do this the more you’re building a portfolio. However, doing something unusual will attract people and increase your chances of being noticed. Do a photo project and post them on photography websites like shutterstock, pexel, visura, etc. Aside from showing people your works, you can also teach others how to creatively take photos.

  • Enter Photo Contests: Enrolling in a photography contest is another great way to get featured locally and internationally. There are a lot of contests out there, so to help narrow down your options, always go for the ones that fit your speciality.
  • Join Photography Groups To Show Your Work: Joining a photography forum especially when you are just starting out will help you get attention and showcase your work. I remember joining a community in 2017 where I shared my work as a beginner and I got a lot of critics which today has helped improve my work. Based on the criticism, I improved myself and so people now pay attention to my work.
  • Try Exhibiting At Photo Galleries: There are endless ways but photography galleries are seeking for content to show off at there space. They will also be looking to showcase more work in the months to come. You may find that your local area has plenty of places willing to display your work, taking into consideration that you may have to secure wall space. But if your photos sell, then it will more than pay for itself.
