How To Fix Lighting Mistakes In Cinematography

When it comes to lighting, new videographers often make mistakes. In this YouTube video by Aputure they highlight three of the common mistakes and what you can do to fix them. They are exposure of the subject, eye lights, and background separation. A subject’s eye can look lifeless and empty without a catchlight, just a glint from a catchlight will make a lot of difference and it doesn’t take much to adjust your lighting. In addition, background separation that is, showing a distinct separation between your subject and the background can make a great difference; it will make your video look more professional.
