They are exposure of the subject, eye lights, and background separation. A subject’s eye can look lifeless and empty without a catchlight, just a glint from a catchlight will make a lot of difference and it doesn’t take much to adjust your lighting. In addition, background separation that is, showing a distinct separation between your subject and the background can make a great difference; it will make your video look more professional.
