At a point I was struggling with getting very sharp images; my images would come out soft and blurry every time I shot images. I have always wanted that perfect sharp image whenever I held my camera and this made me lose moments that can never be made at that particular point in time. In my quest to make sharp images I came up with some steps to achieve perfectly sharp pictures no matter your shooting condition.

Always Use The Right Shooting Mood: Using aperture priority won’t help you with motion blur. All you need to do is to shoot on a lower aperture which will help produce a great depth of filed depending on f-stop on your camera lens.

Use a Fast Shutter Speed: No magic can be done on editing if you use a low shutter speed. A fast shutter speed gives details to your photos. The faster your shutter speed, the less your camera will shake, and the more you will be able to freeze moments as you shoot. NB; your shutter speed can go faster when your subject is moving at a fast speed.

Try Using A Tripod: If holding your camera strongly will be a challenge, try using a tripod to get your desired shot to avoid motion blur on you photo. This is still a best way to tackle camera shake from your hands.

A Low ISO: Iso being the trio of exposures. Using a larger ISO requires a smaller aperture and a faster shutter speed which will increase the noise but sharpen your photo. Depending on your camera, you can go on with 400, 800 even 1600 ISO without a lot of noise.

Use Your Focus More: This is perhaps key to getting a perfectly sharp picture. So many photographers use autofocus on the camera to get their sharp image because that works for them. But never rely on your camera to get it right for you.
