Gudsen, the company behind the wildly successfully Moza Mini Mi and Moza Mini S has just launched their new MOZA Mini-P, a $199 gimbal that works with everything from action cameras and smartphones to compacts and small mirrorless cameras and like products before it, it folds up small to pack away when you’re not using it.

The first prototype of the new MOZA Mini-P was shown off in September 2019 at the Beijing International Radio, TV and Film Exhibition (BIRTV). Everyone expected an announcement almost immediately after but it didn’t happen but now, the Mini-P is here alongside her specs;

  • Payload 130-900g
  • Number of axes 3-axis (Pitch, Roll, Yaw)
  • Rotation range Yaw (pan): 360°
  • Pitch (tilt): 330°
  • Roll: 330°
  • Battery type 4v lithium-ion (custom battery)
  • Battery capacity 2000mAh
  • Battery Runtime 20 hours
  • Charge voltage 5v 2A / 9v 2A
  • Dimensions (normal) 306 x 166 x 51mm
  • Dimensions (folded) 198 x 166 x 102mm
  • Weight 694g

The design of the Moza Mini-P appears to be aimed primarily at travel and adventure vloggers looking to pack light while still being able to stabilize as many different small camera systems as possible. And so the MOZA Mini-P has a payload capacity of 130-900g meaning it can utilise a multitude of small cameras, including action cameras, smartphones, compact cameras and small mirrorless cameras with an option to mount them vertically too.

The gimbal boosts of an impressive 20 hours of battery life on a single charge and utilizes Type-C USB Power Delivery, too, offering power inputs of 5v at up to 2 Amps as well as 9v at up to 2 Amps for faster charging. The MOZA Mini-P is available to pre-order now for $199 with shipping expected to begin between Mid-May and Early June.
