The Lagos Film Lab, a partnership between the British Council and Biola Alabi Media are calling on writers and film makers to turn in entries for a chance to win a mentorship programme aimed at bringing up the next generation of filmmakers.

The Programme was adapted from iFeatures, a premier UK filmmaking programme driven towards the development of low-budget high-quality debut features whilst realising the talent of the filmmakers. The programme is also aimed at producing the most outstanding, daring and distinctive stories by storytellers in Lagos, by giving them the tools and the support to experiment, develop their voice, and create contemporary films that speak to a world audience.  Lagos filmLAB is a partnership between the British Council, the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) and delivered by Creative England and Biola Alabi Media

More information about the programme can be found here and it is important to note that entries with close on the 13th of September, 2019. Also, there’ll be a webinar session to provide guidelines and tips on how to make your application stand out alongside a question and answer session on the 27th of August, 2019.
