This is the first time the Alpha Festival is taking place in Nigeria since Sony officially reckoned its presence in the country in January 2020 and from all indications, it’s going to be an occasion to remember. The event will be conducted by Nigerian Alpha Ambassadors and Collaborators some of which include; British Filmmaker Timothy Matthews, Nigerian Fashion Editorial Photographer Henry Oji commonly known as Big-H, Wedding Filmmakers Otu Sally and Lanre Esho, Portrait Photographer Poshclick amongst others.
There’ll be various workshops on “Shooting with Natural Light”, Creating “Intimate Portraits”, “Light Painting Photography”, “Choosing the Right Cineline Camera for your Project” by Tim Matthews and others. The festival will create an opportunity for photographers to experience the new Sony Alpha A7R Mark V and other cameras and lenses in the Sony lineup.
