Fujifilm is undoubtedly amongst the leaders in mirrorless camera production with their X-T3 and X-T4 amongst some of the best APS-C sensor mirrorless cameras in the market but strangely, Fujifilm doesn’t make full frame camera; the brand is only into APS-C and medium format camera and their line up is impressive.
With cameras like the GFX 100 that spots a 100 megapixel medium format sensor, it is sometimes challenging to finding lenses that can harness all that sensor power and deliver and Fujifilm has not failed on that front either. Cue in the new GF 30mm f/3.5 R WR Lens.
The lens is a lightweight, high-resolution, wide-angle lens for GFX medium-format cameras. The lens is weather sealed and built with landscape, street and architectural photographers in mind. The lens is built with 13 elements in 10 groups (including 2 aspherical and 2 extra-low dispersion elements), a fast and quiet internal autofocus system so that images are sharp from center to edge of the frame.
Below are some official sample images;
The Lens is expected to hit stands at the end of the month or in early August and will cost a reported $1,700.
