At the end of July, Meike released a relatively inexpensive (By relatively inexpensive, We mean really cheap) 50mm f/1.2 lens for Canon, Nikon and Sony mirrorless and now, they’ve announced a new 85mm f/1.8 that’s targeted at Canon and Nikon DSLR shooters.

According to PetaPixel; the lens has 9 elements that are divided into 6 groups. The elements are coated to prevent ghosting, reduce chromatic aberration and flaring but for $190, there’s just so much that you can get. The type of motor used for the auto focus function isn’t known but there isn’t any hope that it will be anything magical due to the price.
