Most photographers are in the dilemma of getting a prime lens or a zoom lens? The question is do you need a really fast lens or can you compromise? Nikon is putting up great lenses which are making it difficult for photographers to pick from.
When you’re thinking about buying a new lens, there are different things you need to consider and put in place. One of the most common is whether to get a prime lens, a lens with a fixed focal length, or a zoom lens. Some people steadfastly maintain that they only shoot with prime lenses because of the perceived sharpness, while others prefer the flexibility that zoom lenses afford.
The three different lenses from Nikon with different perspectives and strengths has given photographers a need to reconsider their choice for lenses. lenses such as
- the Nikkor Z 85mm f/1.8 S Lens t
- the Nikkor Z MC 85mm f/2,8 VR S Macro Lens
- the Nikkor Z 70-200mm f/2,8 VR S Lens
Due to the variety of lenses and their different usage, Matt Irwin in the video below put the Nikkor lenses together and compares them all, such that photographers can see how to pick from the category of lenses and when and where they can be used.
