- UNDERSTAND THE BASICS: You must understand the basics of photography, the basics of lighting, camera composition, exposure triangle, etc. This is important because at a photography workshop you’ll be addressed as a photographer that understands these things and it might not be considered in the cause of the workshop.
- BUY YOUR NECCESSARY CAMERA GEARS AND EQUIPMENT : Photographers should get the basic camera gears, most especially a camera and a good lens so as to understand what is being taught at the workshop or conference. This way, it doesn’t seem vague to you and you have a full understanding of what is being taught.
- LEARN FROM OTHERS : A workshop is also a place where you meet people and connect with other photographers. Do well to relate with other photographers and have a spirit that is ready to learn, because the workshop might not cover all the areas , so meeting and learning from others will help to increase the knowledge of the craft.
