Earlier this month, Sony released the ZV-1, a vlogger’s oriented camera that featured a flip screen and a better microphone but recent reports are indicating that Panasonic is planning to launch its own vlogger’s camera and create some competition for Sony. There’s been a steady rise in vlogging activity in the last couple of years and with the advent of the coronavirus pandemic, that number has risen even more so it’s not surprising that camera companies are looking in that direction and tailoring cameras to fit that audience.
According to 43Rumors, Panasonic will be launching their camera called the G100 to rival the Sony ZV-1 with June 24 set as the date the company will announce the camera.
Outside the teaser poster, there’s no information on specs or images of the camera but the 24th is in just a couple days so fingers crossed but the certainty is it will be a Micro Four Thirds and will possess 4K capabilities.
Panasonic has some amazing cameras with the likes of the GH5, G80, and G90, so it’s almost certain that whatever they do announce would be great.
