The Corona Virus Pandemic has turned most of the world into one big video conference call with people mostly having cyber meetings. Since May, camera companies have been releasing software that turns their cameras into webcams to enable high definition video calls for their users and finally, Sony has joined the bandwagon.
The company yesterday released the Imaging Edge Webcam software for windows 10 that turns most of Sony’s mirrorless cameras and some of their compact cameras into HD webcams. The application is currently available only for Windows OS but it is safe to assume that Sony is currently working on a version for MacOS users.
