The Sony FS700 Cinema Camera was released in 2012 for $8,000 dollars and can now be gotten relatively less expensively but despite the camera being 8 years old, it is capable of some incredible feats like shooting really high res video and have quality audio control right off the camera itself.
The guys at DSLR Video Shooter break down the capabilities of the FS700 and it is phenomenal. With an external recorder, the camera is capable of 4K/120p RAW video, it has built-in ND filters with help control exposure. The camera like almost all cinema cameras features a super 35mm sensor with a native Sony E mount, which means you can adapt all of Sony’s current lenses and their entry of third-party lenses (but the autofocusing system on the FS700 isn’t exactly up to date).
